Ligi.ai is a breakthrough legal technology solution custom-built for Day One Advisory by Neural AI, designed to modernize how legal professionals in Malta operate. This intelligent legal assistant combines the power of artificial intelligence with deep knowledge of Maltese laws and judicial proceedings—making it one of the first AI tools purposefully developed for the local legal landscape.
The goal of this project was to create a custom-built AI chatbot for law firms in Malta that could assist with document drafting, legal research, and document review, all while understanding the nuances of the Maltese legal system. The platform was envisioned to reduce time-consuming manual work, improve the accuracy of legal documentation, and give law firms a digital edge in client service.
From the outset, Ligi.ai was intended to go beyond generic AI tools by focusing on local law firm workflows, ensuring that the content generated or reviewed is aligned with local legal standards. By combining AI-driven legal automationwith contextual understanding, Ligi.ai empowers law firms to work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence.
Trained a domain-specific LLM on Maltese legislation, judicial rulings, and statutory data.
