Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2 May 2026 Applies to: neuralai.mt Jurisdiction: EU / GDPR

This Cookie Policy explains how Neural AI Ltd. ("Neural AI", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar browser technologies on neuralai.mt. It applies to all visitors and is required reading for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to recognise your browser on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and in some cases track behaviour across sessions or sites.

Beyond traditional cookies, we also use browser local storage — a similar technology that stores small pieces of data locally in your browser without expiry dates unless explicitly cleared.

2. How We Use Cookies and Local Storage

We keep our use of cookies and tracking technologies minimal. We do not run advertising networks, we do not use social media trackers, and we do not sell your data.

3. Cookies and Storage We Use

Name / Key Type Provider Purpose Expiry
neural_booking_popup_dismissed Local storage Neural AI Remembers that you dismissed the "Book a Meeting" popup so it does not appear again. Persistent (until cleared)
calendly.* Third-party cookie Calendly Inc. Set when you interact with the Calendly booking widget. Used by Calendly to operate the scheduling service and prevent abuse. Session / up to 1 year
cf_clearance Third-party cookie Cloudflare Security cookie placed by Cloudflare (our CDN / hosting provider) to distinguish legitimate users from bots. 30 minutes – 1 year

Category descriptions

  • Strictly necessary / functional: Required for the website to operate correctly. Cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality. No consent is required for these under ePrivacy rules.
  • Third-party: Set by external services we embed (Calendly). These are subject to the privacy policies of those services.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or profiling cookies. We do not embed social media tracking pixels.

4. Third-Party Services

Calendly

Our website embeds a Calendly booking widget to allow you to schedule meetings with our team. When you interact with or load this widget, Calendly may set cookies on your device. Calendly's processing of your data is governed by their own Privacy Policy. Calendly is based in the USA; transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cloudflare

Our website is hosted and delivered via Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (cf_clearance) as part of its DDoS protection and bot management service. This cookie does not track your browsing behaviour across websites. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

5. Your Consent

Strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries (such as our popup dismissed flag) do not require your consent as they are essential to operating the site. Third-party functional cookies (such as those set by Calendly when you actively use the booking widget) are placed at the point of your interaction with that widget.

We do not run a cookie consent banner for advertising or tracking cookies because we do not use any.

6. Managing and Deleting Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View the cookies currently stored on your device
  • Delete individual cookies or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific websites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Set notifications when a cookie is placed

Guidance for common browsers:

To clear our local storage entry, open your browser's developer tools, navigate to "Application → Local Storage → neuralai.mt", and delete the neural_booking_popup_dismissed key.

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of third-party services we embed (such as Calendly).

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of any personal data associated with cookies. Please see our Privacy Policy for the full list of your rights and how to exercise them.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) of Malta.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our website evolves or regulations change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
