Matthew Galea

Matthew Galea is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Neural AI, Malta's specialist artificial intelligence company. His career began with a focus on automating digital marketing processes — an early exposure to the potential of intelligent systems that quickly evolved into a broader recognition of what AI could do for businesses at scale. That conviction led him to transition fully into leading AI development teams, building solutions across industries and borders.

Before co-founding Neural AI, Matthew operated software development companies with teams exceeding 60 developers and project managers. He directly project managed large-scale development engagements valued at €500,000 and above, giving him a precise understanding of what it takes to scope, staff, and deliver complex technology programmes. That operational depth is now applied to every Neural AI engagement — from early discovery through to production deployment.

His experience spans custom-built GPT solutions, computer vision systems, and data science projects across iGaming, finance, government, and healthcare. Matthew is a recognised voice in Malta's technology landscape, regularly invited to speak on panels, television programmes, and conferences about the commercial and societal implications of artificial intelligence. He combines strategic vision with technical fluency, helping organisations identify where AI drives the most value and holding Neural AI's team accountable for delivering on that promise.
